📦 Martin Sauna Shipping Policy

At Martin Sauna, we strive to make your sauna delivery experience smooth and worry-free. Below are the details regarding our shipping procedures, including important guidelines for larger freight deliveries.

🚚 Order Processing & Fulfillment

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
  • Shipping Time: Once shipped, delivery generally occurs within 1–6 business days, depending on your location and the carrier’s schedule.
  • Tracking: A confirmation email with tracking details will be sent as soon as your order leaves the warehouse.

🏡 Delivery Method & Expectations

  • Freight Delivery: All saunas are shipped via freight carriers and delivered curbside. This means the item will be placed at the edge of your driveway, not brought indoors or into a garage.
  • Delivery Appointment: The freight carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time. Please provide an accurate phone number during checkout.

📏 Unloading Policy for Oversized Sauna Shipments

Important: If your sauna is manufactured by Leisurecraft/Dundalk and the crate exceeds 92 inches in length, special unloading conditions apply:

  • No Liftgate Service: Crates over 92" cannot be unloaded using standard liftgate equipment.
  • Customer Responsibility: You are responsible for unloading these oversized crates from the delivery truck.

Recommended options:

  • A forklift with long forks
  • A tilt-bed tow truck
  • Manual unloading with help from multiple people (unpack crate and carry components)
  • Pick up from freight terminal with a flatbed or trailer

Ensure your delivery site is accessible to large freight trucks (up to 53' trailers). If the carrier is unable to deliver due to access or unloading issues, storage or redelivery fees may apply.

🔍 Delivery Inspection

  • On Arrival: Please inspect the packaging and product thoroughly before signing the delivery receipt.
  • If Damaged: Note any visible damage on the receipt, take photos, and contact us within 24 hours.
  • Concealed Damage: Report within 48 hours of delivery, including photos and a detailed description.

🚫 Missed Deliveries & Address Changes

  • Missed Appointments: Re-delivery charges may apply if no one is available during the scheduled window.
  • Post-Shipment Address Changes: Changes after an item ships may incur fees (up to $250, per manufacturer policy).

🌎 Shipping Coverage

  • Continental U.S.: We offer free shipping to the 48 contiguous states.
  • Alaska, Hawaii, & International: Available with additional charges. Contact us for a custom quote.

🧰 Product Assembly

  • Saunas are delivered as easy-to-assemble kits. Most require no special tools.
  • Accessories may ship separately and arrive before or after the main unit.

📦 Order Changes, Returns & Cancellations

  • Cancellations: Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement with no penalty. After that, fees may apply.
  • Returns: Accepted within 30 days of delivery (unused items, in original packaging). Return shipping & restocking fees may apply.
  • Exceptions: Leisurecraft products (Canadian Timber Collection) are not eligible for return unless damaged or defective.
