The Harvia KIP 6 kW is a wall-mounted traditional sauna heater sized for many medium home sauna rooms. Harvia lists a recommended sauna volume of approximately 169 to 300 cubic feet.
Is 6 kW the right size for your sauna?
Measure the interior width, depth, and height to calculate the basic room volume. Then adjust for heat-absorbing surfaces such as glass doors, windows, tile, stone, or masonry. Those surfaces can make a 250-cu.-ft. room behave like a larger room from the heater’s point of view.
Recommended room volume: 169–300 cu. ft.
