Overview

Golden Designs Kaskinen 6 Person Hybrid (PureTech™ Full Spectrum IR or Traditional Stove) Outdoor Sauna - Canadian Red Cedar Interior

One Outdoor Sauna. Two Completely Different Ways to Sauna.

The Golden Designs Kaskinen GDI-8526-01 is built for buyers who don't want to choose between traditional sauna heat and infrared. This six-person outdoor hybrid combines an 8kW traditional electric sauna heater with a 15-emitter PureTech™ full-spectrum infrared system, allowing you to choose the style of heat that fits the session.

For traditional sauna bathing, the electric stone heater provides the higher-temperature experience many people associate with a classic Finnish-style sauna. When you prefer infrared, seven PureTech™ Near Zero EMF carbon panels and eight near-infrared elements provide full-spectrum infrared heat at lower cabin temperatures.

The all-weather exterior surrounds a natural Canadian Red Cedar interior, while a galaxy-style ceiling lighting system, illuminated backrest, exterior accent lighting, Bluetooth and built-in speakers make the Kaskinen feel more like a dedicated backyard wellness room than simply another piece of outdoor equipment.

Questions & answers

Golden Designs Kaskinen FAQ

How does the Kaskinen hybrid heating system work?

The Kaskinen gives you two sauna experiences in one cabin: an 8kW traditional electric sauna heater and a 15-emitter PureTech™ full-spectrum infrared system. The infrared system includes seven Near Zero EMF carbon panels and eight near-infrared elements, allowing you to choose the heating style that fits the session.

What electrical service does the Kaskinen require?

The Kaskinen requires 240V/40A electrical service. A certified electrician should install or confirm the circuit and connection in accordance with the product manual and local electrical code.

How large is the Golden Designs Kaskinen?

The exterior measures 73" W × 86" D × 95" H, with the roof overhang adding approximately 4 inches to the depth. Interior dimensions are 63" W × 80" D × 91" H at the peak.

What should I prepare before an outdoor Kaskinen installation?

Plan for a level, stable installation area, the required electrical route, manufacturer-specified clearances, and enough access for freight delivery and assembly. Review the product manual and local building and electrical requirements before the sauna arrives.

How is the Kaskinen different from a traditional-only outdoor sauna?

The Kaskinen adds full-spectrum infrared heat to a traditional electric sauna heater, so you are not limited to one heating style. Buyers who want only traditional sauna heat may prefer a traditional-only outdoor model such as the Golden Designs Kaarina.
