The Harvia KIP 4.5 kW is the compact choice in the KIP family, designed for smaller traditional sauna rooms. Harvia rates this output for sauna rooms from approximately 100 to 210 cubic feet, making it a practical fit for compact home saunas where wall space and heater clearance matter.

Is 4.5 kW the right size for your sauna?

Start with the interior room volume: width × depth × height. Then account for glass, tile, stone, masonry, or other uninsulated surfaces, because they can increase the effective heated volume. A room near the top of the 4.5 kW range may need the next heater size once those surfaces are considered.

Recommended room volume: 100–210 cu. ft.
