Is 4.5 kW the right size for your sauna?

Start with the interior room volume: width × depth × height. Then account for glass, tile, stone, masonry, or other uninsulated surfaces, because they can increase the effective heated volume. A room near the top of the 4.5 kW range may need the next heater size once those surfaces are considered.

Recommended room volume: 100–210 cu. ft.
